Oregon PRIMA events
We hope to see you at each of our in-person events. Networking within our community is a huge part of our mission. We hold two annual events, a Spring Education Session in April, and Fall Conference in October. Past events have been held at The Driftwood Shores Resort, Riverhouse on the Deschutes, FivePine Lodge & The Oregon Garden, among others. 2026 Events
- ClearRisk presents a webinar on 7/23/36 - "The Importance of Data Collection: Helping Risk Teams Move from Reactive to Proactive Decision-Making"
- Annual Fall Conference will be held at the Best Western Agate Beach in Newport Oregon from September 30, 2026 through October 2, 2026.
2027 Events
- We will be hosting the 2027 Spring Education Session in the Salem area.
- Annual Fall Conference will be held at the Best Western Hood River in October 2027.

The 2015 Annual OR-PRIMA Conference will be held September 30, 2015 through October 2, 2015 at Salishan Spa & Golf Resort . We have great speakers lined up for you with topics such as Rockstar Communication, OSHA Compliance and Fatalities, Crime coverage for public entities, Total Worker Health, Prevention and Protection from Abuse, Data Mining Oregon Police and Fire claims, Inspired Leadership for the 21st Century, Fitness for Duty Evaluations, Legal/Legislative Update, and a legal update on the legalization of marijuana. As in years past, Thursday night's dinner and entertainment is included as part of the registration (by popular demand we are bringing back Casino Night).

GUESTS
Spouses and guests of registered attendees may attend Thursday evening’s reception and dinner for a fee of $50. All guests must be registered and are required to wear a name badge to participate in the festivities.
Attendees are welcome to invite their guest to join them for the entertainment part of the evening free of charge.
CANCELLATION POLICY
If you are unable to attend, we encourage you to send a substitute. If you cannot send a substitute and your registration was paid, OR-PRIMA will refund 100% of your registration fees if written notice is received by September 15, 2015; the refund amount will be reduced to 50% if written cancellation is received by September 18, 2015. Cancellations are not accepted by phone. We regret that refunds cannot be issued after September 18. If your registration was not paid and you cancel after September 18, OR-PRIMA will bill the balance due. Please send cancellation notice to [email protected].
GUESTROOM RESERVATIONS (see 9/2/15 update on room block)
OR-PRIMA has negotiated a group rate of $94.00 per night, plus tax and service fee, for a traditional guest room. Room rate is based up on single and double occupancy. To receive the discounted rate, reservations must be made by 5:00p.m., Wednesday, September 2, 2015.
At this time reservations can only be made via telephone as Salishan is currently updating their online reservation system. To make a reservation, contact the Salishan Reservation Department at 1-800-452-2300 between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. and identify yourself as with PRIMA. Reservations are the responsibility of the individual. Please note that Salishan has a 72 hour cancellation policy.
