Oregon PRIMA events
We hope to see you at each of our in-person events. Networking within our community is a huge part of our mission. We hold two annual events, a Spring Education Session in April, and Fall Conference in October. Past events have been held at The Driftwood Shores Resort, Riverhouse on the Deschutes, FivePine Lodge & The Oregon Garden, among others. Don't forget to fill out your conference/event survey when you attend so that you can tell us where you want us to consider going next, and what topics are most relevant to you! 2026 Events
- ClearRisk presents a webinar on 7/23/36 - "The Importance of Data Collection: Helping Risk Teams Move from Reactive to Proactive Decision-Making"
- Annual Fall Conference will be held at the Best Western Agate Beach in Newport Oregon from September 30, 2026 through October 2, 2026.
2027 Events
- We will be hosting the 2027 Spring Education Session in the Salem area.
- Annual Fall Conference will be held at the Best Western Hood River in October 2027.

The Agenda
The Agenda for the 2014 Annual Fall Conference has been finalized with another great line up of speakers, topics, entertainment and networking opportunities! Mark your calendar and get registered so you don’t miss a single minute! The conference will offer sessions on employee emergency response teams, issues in workers compensation, cyber and technology risks, contracts and purchasing, records retention, law enforcement liability and medical marijuana. A link to the agenda and speaker biographies is provided below.
Motivational speaker and Paralympic cyclist, Sam Kavanagh, will provide our keynote session.
And don’t forget to join your friends and colleagues on Thursday for an evening of great food, catching up and laughs with the stand-up comedy of Milt Abel.
UPDATE ON LODGING!
We have just been advised that OR PRIMA's block of rooms at the Sunriver Resort Lodge is sold out! However, Sunriver Resort has made some of their 2 bedroom condos available for $129/night, plus a one-time cleaning fee of $100. You must identify yourself as an attendee of the Oregon PRIMA conference.
La Quinta Inn at 61200 South Hwy. 97, Bend has set aside a number of rooms for Fall conference attendees at a rate of $97/night (does not include Bend's lodging tax of 11%). The block of rooms will be held until September 10th. To reserve a room contact La Quinta directly at 541-388-2227 and let them know you want the Oregon PRIMA rate. A credit card is required at the time of booking.
As another alternative, you may consider the wide variety of condos, townhomes and home rentals that can be found through a simple google search on "Sunriver Vacation Rental." Many properties are available with pricing similar to that offered at Sunriver's conference rate.
