Oregon PRIMA events
We hope to see you at each of our in-person events. Networking within our community is a huge part of our mission. We hold two annual events, a Spring Education Session in April, and Fall Conference in October. Past events have been held at The Driftwood Shores Resort, Riverhouse on the Deschutes, FivePine Lodge & The Oregon Garden, among others. 2026 Events
- 2026 Spring Education Session: Held at FivePine Lodge & Cabins in Sisters, Oregon on Friday, April 10, 2026.
- Annual Fall Conference: Held at the Best Western Agate Beach in Newport, Oregon from September 30, 2026 through October 2, 2026. This year, attendees may order a custom t-shirt from BG Wearable Designs. Orders must be received no later than 10 pm on 9/11/26, and will be available for pick up at the conference.
2027 Events
- We will be hosting the 2027 Spring Education Session in the Salem area.
- Annual Fall Conference will be held back in Hood River in October 2027.

Saddle Up: Registration is Open for the 2025 Oregon PRIMA Annual Conference
We are thrilled to invite y’all to join us at the beautiful Eagle Crest Resort in Redmond, Oregon from Wednesday, October 8th through Friday, October 10th, 2025! Dust off your boots and hats, we are going all out with the western theme. We are also celebrating the 40th anniversary for the Oregon Association of Public Risk Management!
Our keynote speakers are none other than Tim Eggebraaten, who will energize and inspire with “Finding Your Beat, the Rhythm of Life”. Amy Larson will discuss the evolution of risk management and explain that “It’s More Than Buying Insurance”. We’ll wrangle other crucial topics, including the workforce crisis in public entities, contractual risk transfer, and the Ansbro Safety Culture Spectrum.
Whether you are a greenhorn in the field of risk management or a seasoned trailblazer, we have something for everyone. Don’t miss out on an opportunity to learn, connect and have a rootin’ tootin’ good time!
The Details
Agenda: The agenda is posted on our website.
Attire: Please dress comfortably, business casual or casual attire is encouraged. Consider wearing layers as conference rooms can get chilly. Western wear is encouraged for the Annual Banquet.
Cancellation: If you registered, but cannot attend the conference, please send a substitute. If you cannot find a substitute, please reach out to us at [email protected]. We will refund the cost of registration for any cancellations received prior to September 17th, 2025.
Costs: Conference Registration is $200 for Members, and $275 for Non-Members. Members and Non-Members may invite an Annual Banquet Guest for $65. The Golf Tournament is $10 for each golfer. The Late Conference Registration Fee is $55 and begins September 3rd.
Dates: The conference is Wednesday, October 8th through Friday, October 10th, 2025. Registration opens June 25th and closes September 24th, 2025.
Events: On Wednesday, October 8th there is a nine-hole golf tournament for Oregon PRIMA members. Pre-registration is required and it will begin before the first session. On Thursday, the annual banquet will be held from 6:00 to 7:00 PM in Juniper Hall. Dueling pianos was a hit last year, so we invited Noteworthy back to provide entertainment from 7:00 to 10:00 PM.
Guests: Bring a guest to the annual banquet for $65. You can add a Banquet Guest Ticket at registration or purchase a Banquet Guest Ticket separately after registration with a personal card if your employer does not cover that cost. Please contact [email protected] if you run into any issues. Unfortunately, guests cannot attend the golf tournament.
Lodging: A room block is available October 7th, 8th and 9th at Eagle Crest Resort (1522 Cline Falls Highway Redmond, Oregon 97756). Cost is $120 a night for a Double Queen or $140 a night for a One Bedroom Suite. To book, call 855-682-4786 and mention Oregon PRIMA. Register prior to September 14th.
Meals: On Wednesday, we will provide lunch. On Thursday, we will provide breakfast, lunch and dinner. On Friday, we will provide breakfast. Please include any dietary restrictions during registration and we will do our best to accommodate everyone.
Presentation Materials: Presentation slides will be added to our website as they become available.
Risk Management Certification: Most sessions will offer credit towards the Risk Management Certification Program.
