Time is ticking down! We’re excited to see you next week for the Oregon PRIMA Annual Conference being held October 11-13, 2023, in Florence at the beautiful Driftwood Shores Resort. Our theme this year is “Finding Balance in Life and Work.”   Presentations will be posted as they become available.

Wednesday:

Please come dressed casual.  We have two events planned on Wednesday afternoon (October 11^th) after our last session of the day: Dune rides at Sandland Adventures, and the art and spirits event held at the Driftwood Shores Resort.

For those participating in the dune rides:  Please meet at Sandland Adventures (85366 US-101, Florence, OR 97439) by 3:15 p.m. Transportation to and from Sandland Adventures is on your own, we recommend carpooling if possible. There is no cost to park at Sandland Adventures. Closed-toed shoes are required, and it is recommended that you dress in warm clothing. Rides will conclude at approximately 5:30 p.m.

For those attending the art and spirits event: This will take place in the Cascadia room at Driftwood Shores starting at 3:15 p.m. Stillwagon Distillery will be offering a free tasting event. The Oregon Coast Artisan Trade Education Collective (OCATEC) will provide free instruction on how to create a beach themed painting. This event will end at 5:30 p.m. Dress is casual.

Reception: From 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., please join us for the OR-PRIMA welcome reception being held in the Cascadia room. Hors d'oeuvres will be provided, and each guest will receive one complimentary drink ticket. The cash-only bar will be available for additional drinks if desired. Dinner will be on your own Wednesday evening.

Thursday:

Thursday evening (October 12^th), our signature event will start with dinner at 6 p.m. Our theme is “Beach Night,” (casual) so please come dressed in your best beach wear! Following dinner, join us for an exciting Casino night which kicks off at 7:00 p.m., and concludes at 10 p.m. Come ready to have fun and mingle with Oregon’s best risk managers (safely of course)!!! OR-PRIMA will be giving an award for the “Best Dressed Beach Attire.” Each guest will receive two complimentary drink tickets for the otherwise cash only bar.

 Friday:

On Friday (October 13^th) join us for a beach-themed fun-run/walk that starts promptly at 7:30 a.m. Please meet in the Cascadia room between 7:00 – 7:20 a.m. to check-in for this fun event that will include beach balls and water floaties!
