Oregon PRIMA events
We hope to see you at each of our in-person events. Networking within our community is a huge part of our mission. We hold two annual events, a Spring Education Session in April, and Fall Conference in October. Past events have been held at The Driftwood Shores Resort, Riverhouse on the Deschutes, FivePine Lodge & The Oregon Garden, among others. Don't forget to fill out your conference/event survey when you attend so that you can tell us where you want us to consider going next, and what topics are most relevant to you! The theme for our meeting this year is "Security in the 21st Century" and will include sessions on physical and cyber security. The challenge faced by public employers to provide safe and secure facilities and data, whether for a school, city, county or special district, is one we cannot ignore. Attend this timely and informative meeting to learn what steps we should take now to survive an active threat incident, what the law says about weapons in public facilities, understand the risks public entities face for data breach/theft and how to enhance both physical and cyber security in your entity.
