Oregon PRIMA events
We hope to see you at each of our in-person events. Networking within our community is a huge part of our mission. We hold two annual events, a Spring Education Session in April, and Fall Conference in October. Past events have been held at The Driftwood Shores Resort, Riverhouse on the Deschutes, FivePine Lodge & The Oregon Garden, among others. 2026 Events
- 2026 Spring Education Session: Held at FivePine Lodge & Cabins in Sisters, Oregon on Friday, April 10, 2026.
- Annual Fall Conference: Held at the Best Western Agate Beach in Newport, Oregon from September 30, 2026 through October 2, 2026. This year, attendees may order a custom t-shirt from BG Wearable Designs. Orders must be received no later than 10 pm on 9/11/26, and will be available for pick up at the conference.
2027 Events
- We will be hosting the 2027 Spring Education Session in the Salem area.
- Annual Fall Conference will be held back in Hood River in October 2027.

Registration is open for OR-PRIMA's annual Spring Conference which will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017. The theme this year is Emerging Trends in Risk Management. Presentations include: Why You Need Cyber Liability Coverage, Employment Retaliation, and Homelessness: Challenges for Public Entities. The complete agenda with session descriptions can be found in the attached PDF.
Registration includes coffee service and lunch. The registration fee for members is $55 and for non-members it is $65; after March 31st registration will increase by $15. No refunds will be given for cancellations after April 14th as we must turn in our head count for lunch and will pay for the count given.
For those who wish to stay at the Oregon Gardens Resort they have set aside a block of rooms at the rate of $109 single/double occupancy plus tax. After March 31, 2017 unreserved rooms will be released back into their regular inventory and they will still extend the group rate but will be unable to guarantee room availability. To make a reservation you must contact the Oregon Garden Resort at: 503-874-2500 Ext. 0. Or you may make reservations online by going to the website www.oregongardenresort.com. You will be prompted for a Group ID & Password, which is: PRIMA
